Mahdi Khanalizadeh is Director of Press TV Website and Social Media, and a senior advisor to the channel CEO. He has held those positions since 2021.

Formerly, he was the editor of several programs at IRIB channels. He also headed IRDC International Studies (from 2017 to 2020), and served as Director of Ofogh TV Newsroom (from 2018 to 2019).

Khanalizadeh graduated from Islamic Azad University with a master’s degree in Regional Studies. He earned his Ph.D. in International Relations from Allameh Tabataba’i University.

Khanalizadeh has written two books EU2030 and Christmas in Niavaran, and translated two others On the Other Side of the Table and Not for the Faint of Heart. He is also a university professor in International Relations and Communications.
